5-11-11 - 1st U/S @ 6 weeks – TWINS!!! 2 beautiful, strong heartbeats. I’m in love.
5-6-11 - Beta # 4 = 10,298
5-3-11 - Beta # 3 = 2,298
4-29-11 - Beta # 2 = 692
4-27-11 - Beta Day = 268!!! Hubby’s Birthday
4-18-11 - OMG!!! They called and reported that they were able to freeze 4 blastocyst. YES 4!! I asked however did that happen? She said it just goes to show that a lot can happen overnight. My FC has a very strict criteria for freezing and I cannot be any more excited to be the proud Mama of 4 snow babies.
4-17-11 - 3 embryos have made it to blast however 2 don’t look to good and 1 is fair.(Bittersweet news. Happy they made it this far because it gives me great hope for the embies inside me, plus we didn’t make it this far with any last time. Sad that we don’t have any to freeze for late use.)
4-16-11 - 3dt of the 3 amigos (3 8-cell beauties)

4-14-11 - Fertilization Report – All 8 fertilized.
4-13-11 - ER (be there at 9:30 for 10a.m retrieval)
The morning off the ER I was told I would be called @ 7:30 to let us know if the sperm survived the thaw. Around 8:15 I called the office to see if it thawed well. The nurse Kathy informed me that they were doing it at the moment but it appeared as if Hubs would have to have the aspiration again. She said she would call back in 5 minutes to confirm. Five minutes later the results were in. He needed to have it done. I felt bad for him, but
also felt so much better that we would be using fresh sperm. They told us to come over to the center right away since Hubs and to pick up a special vial to take with him to Dr. M’s office for the aspiration. We walked in and Kathy brought out the vials and sent my husband on his way. My mom stayed with me and we went right back to change and start my IV. The IV went in wonderfully and I really was super calm. I talked to the embryologist about a few things as well as Dr. V. I was so happy he was doing my retrieval again. Plus my two favorite nurses. It felt like a little party going on which was nice. What I will remember most about this ER is when I woke up(still very groggy)from my anesthesia my mom was in the room with me. She handed me my phone that was vibrating saying it was Hubs. He was calling to check on me and telling me they just administered his numbing needle. I said good luck and dozed back off. When I woke back up the nurse was bringing me in some juice and goldfish when I heard the sound of my husband’s voice. “I’m back… with the goods,” he said to the nurse. I heard them say, “right this way.” Next I hear, “Where is she?” and the curtain opens. There is the love of my life walking very bow-legged into the room. Man, I love him. We start to chuckle (and cry) at how funny this morning really was and the story we sure hope to be able to share with our little ones (once they are in their twenties. Lol) I was told they retrieved 8 eggs and all were mature. The embryologist then came in to tell us that he saw good swimmers in the sample. Yeah! So happy!
